VMV was created by an award-winning stage actress, director (including recordings) and voice coach, Mimi Seton, in 2000 in Los Angeles.

Seton's has spent her life working with VOICE since first performing as a singer at age 10 when she was paired with Princess Yasmine Khan for performances of classical duets under the brilliant musical tutelage of choral director, Donald Rand.  Ever since, she has been exploring the human voice and its capacity to create beauty, heal and inspire.

From 2000-2007 in LA she employed musicians who played with top bands ~ Aretha Franklin, Michael McDonald, The Doobie Brothers, etc. to give young singers the expeience of working with 'the best'.

In her own performance career, Mimi has worked with many distinguish colleagues including: Forest Whitaker, Don Preston, Jon Ritter, Joanne Akalaitus, Alma Martinez, Tony Abatemarco, June Angela, Gordon Davidson, Michael Arabian, Jack Bender, Suzanne Batagglia, Jon Rivera, Bill Castellino, R.G. Davis, John Stevenson, M.B. Gordy, Matt Gordy, David Van Tiegham,  Shelley Hirsh, B.D. Wong, David Ives Anglin, Gloria Chang, and dozens of others. 

NOW BASED IN MANHATTAN  Mimi is working as "A TRAVELING COACH"  ~  who will come to your office in New York ~  or to your place of business or community center out of town.

Over her many years in the Entertainment business in the US and Europe, she learned by observing some of the best voice directors in the business, including Gordon Hunt (yes, Helen's Dad!), Andrea Romano, Susan Blue and Michael Bell.  She studied voice and movement at university, Drama School in London, and in classes and workshops with Rudolph Nureyev, Seth Riggs, Lillian Loran, Kevin Crawford, Ed Mock, Francois Combeau, etc.
